Living in a Soul Cave of my own creation is pretty amazing, but it hasn’t always been this way. Many psychics say they have known from a very early age that they were destined to work with Spirit, but although I have had psychic experiences, I never saw myself doing this, far less starting a new life and career in my mid 60s!
It all started about six years ago, when I was going through a traumatic time in my life. I was finding it difficult to cope, and difficult to rest, because no matter how tired I was, my mind wouldn’t allow me to rest. My friend and neighbour Alison Wynne-Ryder, the Quirky Medium, suggested that meditation might help me stay calm so I didn’t feed the drama happening around me, and despite my initial reservations, I agreed to go along to one of her spiritual workshops.

I learned to meditate, but not only that, I also learned I had an aptitude for psychic work, so I decided to train with Alison to become a clairvoyant and intuitive. Through working with Spirit and the Angels, I was able to deal with the trauma in my own life, and also help others to cope with what life sent to them and still remain positive. We may not be able to control what happens to us, but we are in charge of how we respond. We can be a victim or a survivor, and I know what I am!
Obviously I’d prefer that some things hadn’t happened, like the breakdown of my marriage and witnessing the murder of my much-loved dog, but through working with Spirit I learned to forgive the unforgivable and recover from trauma. I feel I needed to go through these challenges so I could learn more about life and more about myself. I am still healing – it’s a work in progress – but as I heal I feel privileged to be able to assist others on their own healing journeys. For me, that’s what Living in the Soul Cave is all about.
