All spiritual work is about healing in some form, usually on an emotional level, and often tied to the past. Being at peace with past situations is necessary, because otherwise we are bound to the past by energetic cords. Even if we don’t consciously give focus to past events, something may trigger painful memories and each time we are reminded, we relive any distress we felt at the time. In the same way, each time talk about bad experiences we also relive them as if they were happening now.
Under the Law of Attraction, this means we can attract similar experiences in the present. However, if we can accept that everything happens for a reason, and that any changes and traumas we’ve been through can help us to learn and grow, and remove people from our lives who don’t serve our best interests, we can move on and look forward to better times. Today we’re going to accept and forgive our past – including our own part in it. When we go into a meditative state, it can be surprising what comes forward!!
Archangel Jeremiel is the Angel of Forgiveness and Life Review. He can help you see how and why your choices have led you to where you are now, as well as helping to heal your emotions from past situations and relationships.

As with all meditations, this works best if you are thoroughly relaxed and receptive, so take some time to get into that space with some conscious breathing to bring your attention into the present moment. Close your eyes and breathe in clear white light for a count of three. Hold for three, then exhale any tension and stress for a count of three. You may like to give this breath a dark colour – red, black or brown for example – and then see it get lighter with each breath as you breathe out your troubles. Once the exhale breath is almost clear, you’re ready to go. Find yourself a comfortable, quiet place where you won’t be disturbed and allow at least 15 minutes for this meditation.
- With your eyes closed, take yourself to your happy place. This can be a beach, a forest, a beautiful garden, a sunlit terrace – anywhere that makes you feel relaxed and connected with everything around you. See yourself sitting in a comfortable chair, reclining in a sun lounger or hammock, or even lying directly on grass or sand, feeling its softness around your body and your bare hands and feet in particular. Take a few moments to enjoy your surroundings. Do you hear birds singing, the breeze through the trees, or the lapping of the waves? What sort of day is it? Settle into the scene you created, knowing you are perfectly safe in your special place.
- You may feel a presence close to you. That’s Archangel Jeremiel, the Angel of Forgiveness, Life Review and Emotional Healing, coming in to work with you. Don’t worry if you don’t sense him around you; healing is going to happen! If you do notice Jeremiel, how does he appear, or do you just sense his energy? Do you see his colours? Jeremiel has an orange and violet ray.

- Now you are going to fly into your past, with Archangel Jeremiel as your guide. You may want to ride on a unicorn or a magic carpet, or you may prefer to fly alongside Jeremiel, If so, see wings unfold from your back However you feel safest is your best way to travel. Before we leave your special place, get used to the freedom of flying, with assistance or by yourself, as Jeremiel watches lovingly.
- When you feel ready, let’s begin our journey, flying high, seeing everything, feeling safe and loved as we travel into our past with Jeremiel, looking forward to the journey, free from worry or fear, enjoying our adventure. Notice your surroundings. Is anyone else travelling with you? Do you see anyone or anything in the distance? Do you feel a gentle breeze, or is the air still? Is it light or dark around you?
- Jeremiel is guiding you to places in your past that may have caused you pain, but from which you have learned things that helped you move forward, and also enabled you to help and encourage others. Observe these reminders of the past through the eyes of love, and ask Jeremiel to show you how they have helped you, because everything we go through helps us different levels, even if we don’t realise it at the time.
- Take time to observe these scenes, without emotion, but with acceptance. Spend some quiet moments hovering in the air, perfectly calm, perfectly safe in the loving presence of Archangel Jeremiel . Send a pink cloud of love and forgiveness from your heart centre to your timeline, seeing it surround everyone and everything.
- Say a fond farewell to your past, and enjoy the journey back to your special place, with Jeremiel as your guide. You may want to spend some time just relaxing once you’ve stepped down from your unicorn or carpet, or folded your wings.
- When you are ready, give gratitude for your timeline healing, and thank Archangel Jeremiel for working with you. Spend a little time enjoying your surroundings before you say farewell to your happy place – for now – and gradually return to the room and open your eyes. Wiggle your fingers and toes and take a drink of water.


This meditation can be repeated at any time when you feel you are spending too long giving focus to past events. Also, different journeys may uncover different situations and people you need to release. Remember Jeremiel and the other angels are always ready to work with you; you just have to ask!
